Clinical testing

Clinical testing is an essential component of my treatment plans in order to determine the root cause of your health issues. There are various in house tests I use as well as pathology out of house testing which is selected on an individual case by case assessment.

The Naturopathic tests I use include blood, saliva, urine, biofeedback, iridology, and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA). If required i recommend and implore the use of pathology tests if required for hormonal, genetic, or nutritional levels.  

Clinical testing is used to assess how well the body is functioning, not to diagnose a condition or disease state. It can be used to detect some of the following: 

• Hormone stresses

• Organ function stresses  

• Nutritional level stresses 

• Potential sensitivities stresses

• Environmental stresses

The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Act) has recently required practitioners make their clients aware that the electronic devices used for measuring stress within the body is not recognised as being scientifically valid by the current western medical system.   

It is important you understand this in light of TGA changes to regulations regarding the advertisement of these devices.
